Lately I’ve seen some wonderful examples of polymer clay framed by wire.  I love the curves and free-form nature of these pieces.  In this project I replace the wire with a polymer clay snake that acts as a bezel or frame.  And then I fill the bezel with dynamic & fun patterns from my texture stamp design collection and wonderful metallic colours are added.

It’s an easy & fun project with lots of possibilities!  This technique also works great for buttons. This project was originally introduced in my article published in the Orange issue of "From Polymer to Art" magazine.  Knowledge in the basics of polymer clay is helpful.
