Honestly this is best book about polyclay in ages. I have been advertising you to my students too in Finland, seldomly there are books so fluently written and with so much quality information. I learned something new about polymer clay while playing - that has not happened in a while. So you deserve the compliments. Really. (Pörrö Sahlberg)
Your book is one of the best I have purchased, if not the best! Thank you for such a detailed and informational book. (Sheri Adams) Helen’s e-book is also dynamite in its own right as many of you have discovered. (C. Tinapple, PCD) Helen’s designs are absolutely sumptuous…congrats on her new book and all the well deserved kudo’s! Julie Picarello What an amazing book!! Thanks Helen for being such a huge inspiration to many. Debbie Crothers Goodness! Holy Cow! Oh my word. I just downloaded your book. It is absolutely fantastic! So fantastic, in fact, I am not sure where I want to begin! All the shapes are wonderful and surprisingly simple to construct. There is so much information in here, it could keep we clayers busy for years! I have all your previous tutorials, but you have really outdone yourself with this. And so much for so little. The price is remarkable, but at $20 there was no hesitation to purchase, so hopefully you will sell many. Peggy B Your book is AMAZING! I have always loved your polymer clay work and your book only serves to magnify how impressed I am. You have put a ton of work and hours into this book, and the pictures, the description and generous sharing of your talents are noteworthy. Thank you so much for making this book and sharing it with other polymer clay enthusiasts. P.M. |
Love it! Such an awesome book. So unlike other polymer clay project books, there are a million different pendants that can be made from your tutorials Helen. I also think your extensive tips, tricks, and in process photos make this such an invaluable reference material. And I'd also like to spotlight some serious use of mica powders and gilder's pastes. I'm blown away by this book...your hard work and talent...and all the fabulous artists featured...wow...wow...wow...honestly WOW!! How great to have it at last, Helen! Maris Weiss It's every bit as good as I hoped it would be. The photography is superb with beautifully clear instructions. Judy Youssef: I just bought the book, too. GREAT!!! I'm looking forward to read it Greetings from Czech rep. Tereza Škrletová I have devoured it and just want to spend lots of time looking through all your wonderful techniques. The faux faceting and walls techniques in particular are simply brilliant. It’s a very beautiful book and the ideas and techniques are inspirational. I shall be telling everyone about this book it is a must-have for all polymer clay and metal clay artists. You should be very proud of what you have produced and I am extremely proud to see my see my picture in the gallery! Natalia Colman Okay, I need to post about this one more time, this time on my own wall. I bought Helen's e-book, Shapes, around Christmas, but only looked through it now. It is FABULOUS! For only $20 you get a very lengthy and detailed e-book on Helen's pendants. The pictures are beautiful and you can just see the endless variations possible, especially when you look through the "gallery" of various artists and their interpretations of Helen's designs and techniques. I am really inspired with Ch. 5 on Surface Techniques. So many ideas for creating textures. I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it! LOL... Thanks so much, Helen Breil, for bringing us this fantastic book and for sharing your wealth of information. (J.T.Jenkins) |
Luckily Helen Breil’s new e-book comesto the rescue. It’s 180 pages of step-by-step instructions and clear explanations of cuts and twists you probably haven’t even considered. The book’s gallery is full of real-life examples from artists you’ll recognize (you may have run into them here on PCDaily). (Polymer Clay Daily post)

It is a wonderful book, so full of ideas and information - I love your "tone" in the text - it's like you're talking right to the reader…in the same room. Very friendly and helpful. Barb Alexander Hi clayers! ........But THIS time... holy freaking cow, okay. Most of the polymer clay books out in recent years, I pass up. Either been there done that, or they are projects I'm not interested in. So I did the obligatory go-look-see and wow, am I glad I did. I will definitely be buying this e-book! Follow the link and download the free 20-page pdf and you'll be wanting to buy the e-book, too. It will blow your mind. C. Therien (Illinois PC Guild) |
